Research Interests

We mainly focused on vegetable crops genomics and genetic breeding. In order to promote the dissection of important and complex agronomic traits, as well as the molecular design breeding of vegetable crops, the laboratory is currently carrying out the following studies:

1. Genomic disection, evolutionary and comparative genomics of horticultural crops. Population structure and selection/domestication analysis of important vegetable crop populations;

2. Gene mining and functional studies on important horticultural traits of vegetable crops;

3. Development of research tools/pipelines/platforms and databases for multi-omics big data analysis;

4. Our research objects are solanaceous crops as pepper and cruciferous crops as cabbage.
